A VERY RARE HUANGHUALI CIRCULAR INCENSE STAND, XIANGJI 16TH-17TH CENTURY The circular top is fitted into a molded frame above the tall waist and beaded, shaped aprons carved with scrollwork and stylized ruyi above each leg. The whole is raised on three elegantly shaped cabriole legs, further carved with stylized ruyi, and terminating in upturned foliate feet and joined by a circular base stretcher raised on small bracket feet. 37 ½ in. (95.3 cm.) high, 17 ¾ in. (45.1 cm.) diam.
